Shop terms

These terms apply to purchases made through the MSLA Community Shop at shop.msla.net.au. By placing an order you agree to them.

The marketplace

MSLA operates the shop as a marketplace for its partners — Sri Lankan businesses in Melbourne. Each item is sold by an individual partner, who is the seller and is responsible for supplying it. MSLA facilitates the listing, takes payment, and passes the proceeds to the partner less a platform fee.

Prices, GST and payment

All prices are in Australian dollars and are GST-inclusive. Where a partner is registered for GST, your tax invoice shows the GST component and the partner's ABN. Payment is processed securely by Stripe; MSLA does not store your card details.

Member pricing

Some items carry member-only pricing or rewards. These are verified against your active MSLA membership at checkout — they can't be applied retrospectively.

Fulfilment

Delivery, pickup and timing are arranged by the selling partner. Shipping costs, where they apply, are shown at checkout. You'll receive tracking details by email when a partner marks your item sent, and can see them under Shop Orders in your account.

Rentals and services

Rentals are hired for a chosen period with a refundable bond. Quoted services are arranged directly with the partner after you request a quote. Bookings you make with a partner are subject to their availability and confirmation.

Refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy and the Australian Consumer Law.

Your information

The contact and delivery details you provide are shared with the selling partner so they can fulfil your order, and are handled in line with MSLA's privacy practices. Booking and quote enquiries are shared with the relevant partner for the same purpose.
